In one of the press conferences at the NCAAT KD mentioned his hand bothering him since the injury at UGA and it effecting his shot. He kind of threw it in as a side comment and it did not just sound like excuse making to me. The stats are interesting.

In the first 22 games (prior to UGA injury)- he was 36-104 from three (34.5%). That included 5 road games, 12 home games, and 5 neutral site games. In the final 12 games (after UGA injury)- he was 9-51 from three (17.6%). That includes 5 road games, 4 home games, and 3 neutral site games. At first I thought maybe it was just him not shooting it well away from home late in the season but he only shot 18% at home in those last 4 home games.

The 34.5% in the first 22 games definitely lines up more with how he shot the three in his Fresh year at UGA (38.7%).

That could be a problem. PEarl then HAS to get him a better than 40% shooting guard.

I also noticed our PGs, didn't really look to dribble drive and pull up for a mid range, better % shot.
Is that bc of our offense or more of their lack of having a midrange game? I do remember Zep and Wendell when they did somehow ended up inside the arc, they had a nice jump shot that went in most times. The problem they very rarely tried to get to that area.
