It’s easy to sit here and say ‘make adjustments’… it’s another to actually find and implement them. Everyone wanted more of the offense to run through Jabari… well he was 1-13 last night.

To Bruce’s credit he actually has an offense that he implements and runs… but the limitations with the backcourt could not be over come consistently.

Yeah I think the "we got outcoached" take is always so lazy. Not that Bruce never gets outcoached, he does, like every coach does at some point.. but armchair head coaches are always a little quick on the trigger with that one. I think last night Miami certainly had an excellent game plan but if Jabari and Kessler could have finished like they have 98% of this season it would have been a different game.

Yes to run through Jabari but he was constantly double covered so someone has to be open

Wen and Zep are too small I guess to over the trap to the open man.

Walker was wide open several times in that situation but they almost refused to throw to him, most likely because of his inability to finish

I thought it was interesting on Pearl post game he said he thought about coming out w a different lineup to start the 2nd half. He said we played poorly to start the game and their plan was to pull Kessler out from post which allowed their 4 guard lineup to get inside a lot and neutralize Kesslers strengths.

I believe his lineup before the half included Cardwell and Franklin.
I was very impressed w Cardwell defense and rebounding and of course Jaylins scoring and rebounding.
Do any of u remember what our lineup was before the half?

It’s easy to look back but that 2nd start.

In my opinion Bruce's half court offense has been stagnant for years, even when he had Bryce and Jared. He was just able to get away with it because we outran so many with the small lineup. There has not been a lot of movement in the half-court offense and the ball sticks in the guards hands for too long. I've never wanted the offense to run through Jabari I just wanted the ball to move more so we could get the best shot possible on every possession.
