Why are LSU fans mad that Mangum out paced Duplantis and broke the SEC records? Mangum is just a better hitter than those guys.

I haven't seen any LSU fans saying anything.
It was a foregone conclusion before season that Magnum and/or Duplantis would break the record barring injury.
Mangum is going to set it where no one can get to it with so much of the season remaining.
Hang the banner!
It's a good record for sure - Mangum also did it with arguably against better pitching and without the old bats. It's just a shame that the best players end up going pro after 3 years because Todd Walker would have shattered anything Mangum would have put up over 4 years.
What's even more amazing is Pistol Pete set an untouchable scoring record without a 3 point line and without fr eligibility.
