Let's say there is a head football coach of a SEC football team and that coach is obese / fat / tub of goo. What kind of message does that send to his fanbase and is it the responsible thing to do in this age of spiraling healthcare costs?

At public universities, coaches are govt employees. I would be furious if I knew a govt employee was raising my insurance premiums with an unhealthy lifestyle.

Well when the obese coach is skinny compared to the fans, it gives them some inspiration.

Tennessee, during Phil's reign, had to reduce the width of Neyland's seats to counteract the fans trying to mimic Fulmer's lifestyle.

Maybe such an obese SEC coach feels that it's the easiest way to connect with his fanbase?

I think it gives more evidence to the fact that the HUNH offense should be banned due to the strain it puts on obese / fat / tub of goo coaches and their players.

Considering we haven't heard a peep out of her this season, I'd guess she's probably on something stronger than horse tranquilizers.
