I don’t think it is as much him as it is certain media/announcers that are doing it.
Remember when he was at Jackson State and his vehicle was broken into on campus. I remember how vocal he was about it and the media trying to say that’s part of the culture, etc. Deion wasn’t having any of it.

I liked Deion as a player (both baseball and football), but Prime Prep soured me on him as a person.
Essentially a Bishop Sycamore situation or one of those fly-by-night "Christian academies", an athletic training facility masquerading as a school, and he walked away without consequence and left the kids and parents holding the bag.

He is not Black Jesus and i think the team is in for a rude awakening once they play a team with superior talent.
