Nope. But it’s obvious UT is better made for TV than any other school is for baseball. But you will get your chance for national TV next weekend when the Vols come to town. College baseball being aired on ESPN is good for baseball.

I guess years of low expectations and being perennial losers causes an increase in attention to most of the known world. And a curiosity as to just how in the hell they all of a sudden started winning. But then again, when the reporters start digging, usually the NCAA is not far behind, lurking in the shadows.

So explain to me why UT has played on ESPN last two days? How many other teams has played on SEC network or ESPN? Not talking about the streaming channels? So the power that be making the decision has decided to put UT on TV more than any school in the SEC this year. Those are facts bitch boi!!!

How you figure? He has built a program from ground zero. When he took over, UT was 7-21 in Conference play. All he has done every year, is improved the wins, develop players and have more players drafted every year. Here’s what he’s done since taking over in conference play.
2017- 7-21
1st year: 2018- 12-18
2019- 14-16
2020- canceled (Covid Year) Best team under Vitello. That team was loaded.
2021- 20-10
2022- 25-5
2023- 2-3
Over the last 2 years he has won more SEC games than any coach in the SEC. Last year UT had more players drafted than anyone else in the country “10”. Even with 10 players drafted the national media still expected big things from UT even though we had to replace every position player that started. Regardless if you like UT or Vitello or not, there is no denying what he has done in such short time at UT. And also we are in the process building new facilities and renovating Lindsay Nelson to be one of the top stadiums in the conference.

I don’t pay attention to what channel other teams are playing on , but
LSU was on Sec Network Friday and Saturday (1st game of double header)

I think we will have more of a pitching dual today than we have had the 1st two games. Beam is a low strikeout guy, but he gets a lot of ground ball outs. Totally different style than Dollander and Burns.
