-8th in total yards (conference)
-8th in total points and points per game (conference)
-Averaged less yards per play than Aggie And Auburn both.
-62nd ranked offense in the country
-Toledo had 700 more total yards.
But if you asked Jjdoc he would tell you this was the best offense in the country! So hard to prepare for right???

Yes that Leach fellow just didn’t know what he was doing, he had no track record at all of offensive success.
I’m sure 36 yo never a HC before, Zach Arnett is much smarter. This explains why he fired the entire offensive staff on day one and brought in a OC much smarter than Leach, Kevin Barbay from App State. that McElwain offense he runs fits just like a glove with the air raid veterans coming off of a 9 win season.
brilliance.
Oh and the conference games included the #1,#2,#3,#5 sec defenses , since we are cherry picking.
Offense avg 39 ppg in wins, defense avg 33.5 points given up in losses. But but but the defense won all the games and Arnett is a much better coach than Leach

So he's an OM fan. That makes sense. I sorta thought he just looked up to the jjdoc guy, and followed his lead in following all things miss state related

You do understand that in losses the other team scores more correct?

No … either a state alum or Arnett himself fricked his girlfriend. This poster has some irrational derangement about Arnett, who’s been the coach for about a month and has yet to coach a spring practice.

Who should we have kept and why?

Since you have been so critical of the current state of State football, who would you have hired to be State’s coach after Leach died , if you were the President of the University?
We all loved Coach Leach. He is not replaceable. Yes we have a new HC but no one but Coach Leach could run his system. He was that unique. Going forward we will have to adjust what we are doing. I think we will keep aspects of the air raid but there is no practical way to continue running with out Coach Leach at the helm.
And I suppose you were criticizing the new AD that was hired as well.
Who would you have hired?
It is easy to criticize. Please offer some sound solutions to the items you were so critical of.

People also fail to think about the fact maybe we reached out to a few OC who were more air raid centered and they weren’t interested

So what air raid coach was interviewed ?
None
arnett made his intentions clear by firing the entire staff on day one
Good luck, idiots

Football Outsiders OF+ rankings for SEC teams
2. Tennessee
4. Georgia
7. Alabama
13. LSU
15. Ole Miss
18. Arkansas
24. Florida
34. Mississippi State
35. South Carolina
52. Auburn
63. Vanderbilt
73. Texas A&M
74. Missouri
81. Kentucky
Still 8th ion the conference but when you factor in efficiency and performance vs you played and how other offenses performed against those teams it looks a lot better than just raw numbers nationally.
