I know it’s blasphemy to not love Joe Burrow on an intimate level as a person, not just a football player, to most of our fanbase, but I thought it was weird when he did it and I honestly think he’s a pretty weird guy in general

He was speaking of the abject poverty in his home town and how he was going to try and make a difference to those less fortunate than himself.
I admire his commitment to helping young kids who, among other things, on some nights don't have much if anything to eat.
No apologies necessary for being emotional about that.
In fact, just the opposite.
