I said what freeze said exactly. That Peyton Thorne is QB1 for the first game.

Then I said what he said about Robby having packages if he handles every properly.

Then i gave my opinion that Thorne is QB1 and if an injury happened to him I'm not sure that Robby would be the start over Holden.

I just can't understand why you can't let it go about Robby like what you say on a message board has any affect on him playing or playing well. If you think Robby is a good QB that's great. Most don't think that. He's a great athlete but that doesn't equal great QB or make a great offense sometimes. I'll let Coach Freeze decide that and looks like he agreed with most fans and not you.

Fortunately for us Freeze is a complete 180 from being one of those splash hires with no proven records.

Jville, lot of the two package talk can sometimes be like the awkward "we can still be friends" statements. It means if it's convenient we wouldn't mind putting you in, but if the situation isnt right, youre not getting put in. So the package is the equivalent of 3 rushes for 9 yards. Lets be honest if Ashford was a legit package then those two would need to carry the QB competition into UMASS and beyond. The guy can obviously run at 6'3 so sounds like his arm is still a tad off.

Watching Michigan State. There’s no way in hell these QB’s were pushing Thorne in the spring - Kim is sucking it up (3/10 29 yards). Sparty was in full on copium mode when Thorne transferred.
