Need a countdown to when Frazier quits the team after being beated out by the greatness known as Jon Wallace.

Everyone has such faith in Jonathan Wallace. I don't see him amounting to much. I think nick Marshall takes this one

Gus and Lashlee have both repeatedly said their offense needs to take 8-10 shots down the field a game to be effective. Until Wallace shows that he can at least be average throwing the ball down field I think he is a long shot to be our starting qb next fall.
Prepare your anus because imo he's coming.

Hate being a disappointment #neveragain

Glad to see I wasn't the only one who saw the issues with Wallace. He is barely above average in talent. I love the kids heart, but that won't help him continue as the starter.

sadly this describes the majority of our current QB minus possibly the kid from Carver....

It also requires some short passes. Hell Frazier cannot even throw a screen. If old Noddle-Arm Todd can throw the ball deep, then Wallace can also.

I agree with this. Isn't Spring Practice only like 14 days of actuall practice and then a scrimmage. That isn't going to help Wallace or Frazier beat Nick Marshall or JJ.

I think it's March 27th, with A-day April 20th.

Really? So practioing with the starting WRS makes not difference. Timing is not an issue in football or Gus' passing game?

Having a prefectionist like Malzahn will cure this problem or he won't play. I think he gets it done.

I have my doubts but I'm not rooting against the kid so I hope you are right. He certainly has a lot of the other tools required to be a solid SEC QB.

I think there's a strong possibility that Wallace steps his game up this spring... he'll definitely be stronger physically. You gotta remember, the guy had been on campus 3 months and was starting games... he was put in a terrible situation, but made the most out of it, IMO.

Yea I think Marshall and Wallace will be the favorites to take the job. Frazier a distant 3rd and JJ 4th.

No way Wallace starts you have 3 guys that are better runner's then him and 2 that are better passers. He'll only have 15 more practices in the new offense than the new guys. Wallace wouldn't start anywhere in the SEC (maybe Kentucky). That's the cold hard truth, kid has a lot of heart though I'm glad he's on the team!

Are these the two we have yet to see throw an SEC pass?

Yes i've seen what Wallace can do, if these two highly rated recruits are no better than him then we're looking at another 3 or 4 wins

How many times did he get to pass? I really feel like we didn't see half of what Wallace could do.
