LOL, i didn't say anything about posting a video before you did. I was just talking about how he makes the statements he does being deliberate.I also didn't say anything about BF coming to Auburn, just that Mike G made a very definitive statement about BF not wanting to return to GT, which is a statement that you don't make unless you actually know that to be a fact. i guess we'll find out if Mike G is full of shite or was correct all along by this weekend.

As far as I know, I’m the only person that was questioning his original assertion that candidates had all agreed to Faulkner as OC. Mike G may have not been full of shite.
But it's pretty clear something changed.
Ole Miss and Florida writers are suddenly talking about Sumrall and Florida. And then the mysterious article from Pinkston when the whole search has been pretty quiet signals to me something is afoot. Who knows maybe Sumrall started asking for over 7 million since he is a hott commodity as of late.

I’ll say this, if Cohen was dumb enough to promote Durkin, at least I’ll have extra money in my pocket. Because I’ll pull my NIL contributions with a quickness. That’ll just show me that Auburn is no longer a program serious about winning.

Ole Miss was cocky about Sumrall preferring Ole Miss. They had been talking about him. Talking about Florida possibly getting him is not what they wanted to talk about.

I like Pinkston. Seems like a good dude. But coaching search isn’t close to his wheelhouse. He’s becoming a solid recruiting guy but these coaching searches take decades of working and building connections, and even then the Auburn beat doesn’t exactly have a stellar rep (even really good ones like Caldwell).
As for Hoke, I trust him on basketball intel solely because he’s fairly tight with SP but that’s about all from him I pay attention to.

I dont believe that Sumrall is a done deal yet. I hope that I am wrong.
If he doesn't commit to keeping Durkin because of Cohen's emphasis on roster detention Cohen is capable of screwing this up.
No confirmation yet on Drinkwitz signing that extension and he would agree to keep Durkin. Durkin almost went to Missouri before he got the Auburn job.

Also watch out if the plan is Durkin and we lay an egg in the IB. Sunday would be very deflating.
