We didn't get screwed. It's a stout region, perhaps a touch harder than I would like for the overall #1, but it's not that bad. There are so many good programs as weak seeds this year that everyone is going to have a dicey looking path on paper.

Louisville isn't particularly good. A&M is a bad matchup for us but it's not a bad matchup in a vacuum for a 1 seed.

Play like you have all year and get to the second weekend, and then, no surprise, we'll need to play at a high level to get beyond that. We're definitely capable of doing that and then some.

Barring a stroke of luck like Bama got, you're going to have to win a big game to get to the elite 8 and beyond. Of course, I wouldn't mind getting a cleared path like they did, but that's just not going to be the case for most teams.

Potentially have to play louisville in Lexington

I keep seeing this brought up. But we got to play in Birmingham for the first two rounds just 2 years ago. And we got smoked by 1 Seed Houston.

Hard to believe we led that game by double digits at the half

Iowa St in our region is a blessing cause they don't have Gilbert.
