Don't get me wrong, I think signing him would be a mistake, for a lot of reasons - but one shitty game against a program on the most successful 5-year run in Division 1 history doesn't necessarily mean he sucks out loud.

Who said he sucks?

We're looking for someone who's better than what we have. He ain't it.

He's certainly better than everyone not named Franklin, only excluding him cuz we have no clue about him

If the coaches are focusing on him says you're wrong, and if some of you are right about him not being worth it then we are truly F'd.

I hope we sign Jenkins. He can throw and run, we need that.

Webb sucks. Glad we decided to pass. If you can't make it at Texas Tech, no way you make it in the SEC.

I'm perfectly fine with Jenkins, sorry just getting caught up a little. 1,000 rushing qb = ship. When do we announce he's on the team?

He's not better than White.

I'm holding my judgment on Franklin but I'm not optimistic.

Do the coaches know better than me? Of course. I'm not that cocky

Does it change my opinion? No. And that's all anybody's thoughts on him right now are. Opinion.

Their job depends on these decisions so they have to do what they think is best but it isn't going to stop me from questioning it.

Eli Jenkins would be an upgrade over anything we have right now, mainly due to the fit in the offense. He's a decent passer, which is proven, and he can run. He's not as fast as John Franklin III, but his passing is more advanced.

Also, his top two receivers at Jack State were better than anything Auburn has right now. Guys have talent.

Gus Malzahn would really put his job on the line by bringing him in, though. It's risky.

I didn't say what I did to criticize you or suggest you know more than the coaches. Read my post again now that you got that out of your system.

To save time I will expound here.

You said we are looking for someone better than what we got.

If the coaches are in fact focusing on bringing him in than they think he is better than what we got. You in theory would be wrong.

You said "and he ain't it."

If you and others ar right about him not being better than what we got then we are really fricked.

I get it was an opinion and I wasn't chastising you for it.

If you are correct and he is brought in than just how bad is our QB situation?

I agree with 25 the graphics were dumb.

I did like his highlights and I remember liking the way he looked when they payed us.

I just want a damn QB that will win games and run Gus's offense at a high level.

That's not too much to ask for is it?

I didn't think you were chastising me.

You said the coaches going after him means I'm wrong. That's the part I disagreed with.

The comment about me not knowing more than the coaches was just in anticipation of some jack wagon coming in here saying "oh so you think you know more than the coaches then?" after I disagreed with the coaches opinion. Got plenty of that in the AE days

I don't think we're fricked. Still a solid believer in White and don't buy the line that Gus can't work with a pocket QB. If goes White goes down, then we're fricked.

I believe White is a good kid and has some talent. I don't believe we have the OL to help him. I believe we need a DT. There is something about Sean's throws that seem off t me, and I don't mean accuracy becaused he showed really good accuracy at times last season.

He gives me a vibe that his strength of throws are not consistent or there. He needs too much time to make a play happen. Just an opinion here, but like I said I can't really explain it. I think mentally he is there, but his body doesn't have the ability to do what he wants. Hope I am wrong. I do need glasses at times now.

With all that said

15-0 Ship!

I absolutely agree with Eli being an upgrade over what we have. I think our offense will be at least a THREAT to move the ball with him at QB.

Re: the WR, I can see that sentiment, but I am holding out hope that Kodi can coach up our WRs and that the frosh (mainly KDavis and NCM) will nullify that. WR is the easiest position to make an early impact in CFB, IMO, so I'm hopeful that those 2 can step up quickly.

He is not better than what we have and will not be coming to Auburn.
