You can't compare the two record wise. All of White's starts except one have come against conference opponents. MSU is the first game we moved the ball consistently and the offense found some sort of rhythm all the way through the ole miss game. The losses of those games can't be attributed to White's play but rather shitastic play calling inside the redzone, a shite ton of drops in the Arkansas game, and some incredibly awful defensive performances. I have no faith in JJ's abilities and feel it's not if he win turn the ball over but when we he turn it over.

White starts. Especially if "playing well" is defined as what JJ did against A&M
Did he play poorly? I didn't see poor play from JJ.
I am very torn and don't know. Sean has been great and what the team needed though we didn't win. If it were me...who gives us the best chance to beat UGA? Sean or Uganda Cam? Health issues, practice prep., etc. all being equal. I honestly don't know.

We beat Georgia and Idaho.
White is 100% for Alabama. Who starts?

Sean White against Ole Miss couldn't even step into a throw. Unless they sprinkle some magic fairy dust the past week while healing, White isn't going to be himself
He's still in an air boot and limping as of this morning.

He did not. He wasn't asked to do anything except to not turn the ball over which to his credit he did a good job of that.
We have lowered expectations for JJ. Not turning the ball over is a good game for him.
To play well though you have to actually make plays.

I agree. But JJ's play against A&M and LSU was night and day better. JJ shattered expectations. Gone. Kaput. Against A&M he got a fresh start (at least I like to think so). He did well. Didn't everyone else see how excited and pumped he was to be in there? He did what was asked, fairly well, as did Sean when he played. JJ played well and made plays. He would have made a few more but for a dropped pass or two. JJ did miss a pass or two as well but it happens. As I said, I am really torn, but I would go back to: who gives us the best fricking chance to beat Georgia, from all angles? Team leadership, playbook knowledge, rapport and timing with receivers, guts, desire, health, etc. I honestly don't know. I would like to trust Gus to make the best decision (but....). I still think we kick UGA's arse this week.

OK Brannigan. ??????. I'll translate it it for you. It says "frick you" in Japanese.
As you asked nicely and said please, I will. Just for you. Do you have any better suggestions? Jeremy? JJ? Mr. Johnson? That guy? That guy from Carver?
You think Uganda Cam is stupid. K. I like it. I like typing it. I like saying it. Again though, as you asked nicely, I will refrain from using Uganda Cam. ??????

Not a fan of White. Not saying JJ is the answer, but White lacks the home run threat. His lone quality is not turning the ball over.

False. The only plays he made were when he chunked it deep into a situation he shouldn't be throwing into (which is what got him in trouble earlier in the season). Some of his throws were horrible on what shouldve been easy throws.

Name one thing JJ does better than White. You could make an argument for running except for the fact that JJ does not run and when he does he fumbles. JJ probably knows the playbook better but that doesn't really matter if you can't execute the play. Every other trait, give me White.
The only question is whether White will be healthy or not.

White doesn't lack a home run threat with receivers who catch them
Posted on 11/9/15 at 11:35 am to Weagle25
What are you lol at? How many TDs has he accounted for?
Posted on 11/9/15 at 11:37 am to AUCE05
Because either you haven't watched him play at all or you have no idea what your watching.

Then enlighten me. Provide facts that proves your point. I don't work on emotions.

Go look.
3 straight games of over 250 yards is a good start. Go from there.

Malzahn's O has always been run based and big plays on the vertical. Being efficient on short to medium passes, and not turning the ball over won't cut it. He would be perfect at Bama or UGA, but not here.

You can make that argument. I disagree but I can see that it might have merit. He can throw a deep ball.
This however has zero merit at all.

We need a healthy White though, if he is gimped like he was against Ole Miss, he could get seriously hurt with that limited mobility.
