We tried to get him once. Maybe the second time's a charm.

Redeem yourself, Jay. Fire Barbee and go get him.

ETA: And Minnesota is stupid.

'm confused. Do we wait two years, or are you saying we call him now and hope that he sustains success (using one tournement as the baseline for this success) and more importantly transfers the potential for sustained success to coaching at auburn.

As far as I know Barbee is still the coach, so niether is an option at this time especially with it appearing unlikley that he will be fired before the end of the 2014 season

My only point is that Auburn falls into the category of schools that may consider him if he has a couple more runs in the Tourney and they're looking to hire a coach during this period.

For firing a coach that hasn't finished better than 6th in the Big Ten in his entire tenure there? Yeah he hasn't finished in the top half of the Big Ten since he arrived.

Yeah, I'm going to get even more mad at Jacons for not firing a coach he already gave a vote of confidence and hiring a flavor of the month coach in less than a week.

Went to Texas Tech. Sad that the butthole of Texas is able to hire better HC than us. 2 of thier last 3 HC have NC rings.

It's the best postseason college basketball tournament, people. It has a final series just like the NBA!
