Was later in the game and I don’t think that was us trying to take Cal guy out. That CSU guy was a thug and it was an awful cheap shot. No reason for that no matter what trash is talked. Players constantly talk.

I didn’t say it was a clean shot, but you open yourself up to those when you run your mouth. Especially when you’re playing a team that isn’t that good and isn’t expected to win anyway.

People complain about football getting soft. Then somehow at the same time complain about that hit.
That was a very common type of hit in the 2000 era. Definitely sending a message with it but they’re used to be tone setting hits all the time.
I can see both sides but just be consistent with whatever your stance is. (Not saying you aren’t Pete. Don’t know what stances you’ve taken in the past).
