Has there ever been a time you have to purchase another stream like ESPN+

I am wanting to cut ties with DirecTV and just want to understand how that affects the sports viewing. Also, any other limitations you noticed but just accept or found other solutions? Thank you for any help you offer.

Wondering the same. Hulu is going up to 90 bucks a month. That’s ridiculous. Looking to make the switch to YouTube tv

These streaming services are forgetting why people switched to them in the first place. They’re going to out price themselves soon, and people will switch back to regular cable.

Mine is going up to 82/mth for Hulu Live, Disney + and ESPN+ bundle.

YouTube tv is 72/mth by itself.

That’s what I’m noticing as I’m looking to make a change but for some reason there are several channels that no longer have agreements with DirecTV and pissing me off because they play several college games. YouTube basic is better pricing but trying to figure out will basic be enough. I’m not a big NFL guy anymore so I don’t know if I need the extra sports package to get college games too?

Price is one thing. No doubt, it’s higher than I ever imagined. However, I pay for YouTube TV from September to January or so. I’m not an OT baller but for 5-6 months it’s way within what I’m willing to pay.

The ability to turn it on/off without hassle, setup, and/or any sort of equipment is pretty rad

I have done the math and I would save very little, if any, switching to Youtube. You still need to subscribe to Internet from whoever (Comcast, ATT, Spectrum, etc.) and then add $75 per month from Youtube to that.

If Google would provide their fiber service in my area and then bundle that with Youtube TV, I might be down if the price is right.

I've never even had access to a single cable provider. I've very rarely missed any sporting event, anywhere, anytime and not one I can re4member in the past 2-3 years. Never paid a penny - it's all available on the Internet for free. A VPN is recommended but I have never bothered. I can usually find a decent stream at LINK or LINK

Navigating and figuring out how to get what you want may take a while, but it's not too hard. And it's free, wherever you are.

That's what I have, unfortunately I need Hulu and Disney for the family. So I'd be paying more if I did YouTube TV than the Hulu live bundle.

you can literally watch all the games on YouTube. People pirate stream the games every week. When they take down one stream for copay right infringement, another pops up within seconds.

I don't have those links but appreciate it. For me, I have FIOS internet for 50 a month. I have an antenna (in the attic) to get the local channels (which we don't watch much) tied into our cable runs. We have the Hulu, Disney etc with our Verizon phone for about 15 bucks a month. I have some friends who have shared their plex server with me. Thinking about building my own. Plus there are a ton of free movie & show apps for the TV now plus many other free channels on the internet. I try to watch Football, AU sports and cycling which I can find free out there. Not hard to stream it into your TVs and other devices.

I do the Hulu bundle with Disney and ESPN+. It's going up to $85ish a month, but I pay it on my AMEX, so it knocks off $20 a month. My fiber is $75, up from $35 when I started. Might be time to see what cable and cable internet offers to knock the prices around for a while.

I hate the Hulu UI as a whole.
