I honestly hadn't really thought about it, therefore, didnt realize we had never played ND. At first, I thought, that's fricking so weird and a game against them would be amazing. Then I read:

As an aside, I've seen a lot of "Notre Dame is irrelevant" posts it, but you couldn't be more wrong when it comes to national media and perception. Just look at a couple years ago when them and Miami were having good seasons. The media hyped both of them all year long and they both got waxed at the end of the year when they played some competition. (Outside of LSU's chokejob in the bowl.) Just how it is. We fans may not see them as relevant. Because I agree they are usually irrelevant to the big picture. The media just doesnt see it that way.
