You must have unrealistic expectations. Jim Harbaugh ain't walking through that door.

Any "source" that thinks Gus Malzahn will be hired is probably spoon fed his cheerios on the morning.

Yea, I don't understand their negative thinking on Patterson.

Does anybody in here remember Dan Hawkins he was the coach at Boise State before Chris Peterson, Hawkins had an outstanding record at Boise St. he then was hired at Colorado and was a miserable failure my point is Patterson dominated the Conference USA and the Mountain West then he goes to the Big 12 and has a 7-5 so what makes you think he is going to be great in the SEC

The difference is Patterson didn't take over a team full of Big 12 players who are used to Big 12 play. He took a bunch of MWC players and played a Big 12 schedule. The talent difference was pretty big, and he still did pretty good. I'd rather Stoops or Petrino, but I'd be fine with Patterson for sure

Dan Hawkins record at Boise St. 2001-2005 53-11 then at Colorado 2006-2010 19-39. Patterson has the potential for failure at the big time level

I agree I would rather have Petrino or Stoops over Patterson but would rather have Patterson over Storng and Gus

Everyone has potential for failure.

Patterson's taken an extremely young TCU team to a bowl in his first season in a BCS conference. His teams play good, fundamentally sound defense and he gets an innovative OC to run his offense. Get him here.

Playing 16 freshman and Mountain West talent and he's still competing with Texas and Oklahoma is all I need to tell me he's a great coach.
