and one of them as proven he knows how to win.
So if he's right i guess we find out wehre the importance of results rank in the decision makers. Unless of course max is right and bobby spurns us for cal.

Good. I find that guy to be one of the more annoying of all the radio voices that have been on in birmingham, but didn't want to completely discredit him.

I don't know who Cass Sheridan is and with that last name I'm not sure I can believe anything he says but here is something he tweeted that I saw on another board.

Looks like he's an editor for a smaller auburn site.
and on a personal note (thanks internet for allowing me to stalk anyone) a guy who could recruit well according to james franklin
sadly he also says that jeff fisher was in play until a week ago. So i say this man can't be trusted.

Well i dont' think jacobs has much influence and will be shown the door once a new coach is in and everything settles down.

Yep. When you round up 3 people to join your AD as part of a "search committee," the AD isn't the one with the final say, IMO.
I don't think Jacobs has a ton of say in this decision.

If there is one thing he is really good at it's raising money. So that would make a lot of sense and make everyone happy. I'd liek to buy the idea that some are putting out there that Mac is invovled in the committee so he can see the process for when he's the new AD, but i just can't believe that.

of all the people, i would not have picked him to be on the petrino bandwagon, at least before he is hired.
Now i know at his site you can't talk bad about coaches or auburn in general, but petrino isn't the coach yet.
