"He'll be out, I would assume, the first five or six games, and hopefully (we) have him towards the back stretch," Golesh said. "But it's unfortunate for him because he's had an incredible summer, and he is working his tail off to get back."
That sucks. Cant expect an OL to come back after a couple of months when their muscles have atrophied, and be very effective for the remainder of the season.

He would have been our 3rd tackle, and given Ramil (presumed starting left tackle) is coming off knee surgery, he could have been a critical piece.
When Golesh mentioned who might fill that roll now, one of the players he mentioned was Christian Zierer, a true freshman, playing left tackle in the SEC.......Byron Brown left practice to buy more life insurance.

this team has decent numbers plus he's not gone for the year. This sucks but I don't think (Byrum) needs to seek extra insurance coverage yet.
