JFIII had roughly an 80 yard touchdown run today, but also an interception and fumble.

Scrimmage notes should come out soon.

Quarterbacks were live.

According to Jamel Dean, defense didn't pick off any passes during scrimmage -- only recovered a couple fumbles.

Some more info: Jeremy Johnson had a long TD pass to Roc Thomas. John Franklin had a couple of turnovers early, interception and fumble, but then broke off an 80ish-yard run. That's all for now.

Hundreds of former Auburn football letterman eating lunch in the Auburn Arena after watching the scrimmage.
Informally, it's a bagmen appreciation dinner.

That group is more than just lettermen. I see my wifes scumbag cousin in that crowd. He is a well off lawyer in North Alabama.

I really like Jamel Dean and Carlton Davis as the starting cornerbacks. Both big, long corners.

“I think we put one ball on the ground on (a zone read) exchange and he had a long run,” Malzahn said. “I thought he threw the ball well. I thought we overthrew a couple of deep balls, but he extended some plays. Jeremy and Sean did the same thing. They extended some plays downfield. I thought it was good for all those guys to be live in the pocket.”

Lettermen can bring "family" members with them. I have been to that event before.
