Are you training for something specific or just out clicking off a few miles? I miss the days when I could do 12 at an EZ pace and call it a recovery run:(
Oh and on the drinking front: 1 Tito martini a little red wine blend and now practicing for my trip to Scotland in January. Macallan always a nice end to the evening.

That's not too funny at the moment.
Working on second week of hernia repair and life would be wonderful if not for this horrible flu. Bad combination. Do not recommencement.
Coughing is not so bad, you feel it coming, it's the sneezing that suddenly comes out of no where and you think how did that hold?
Life's good.. proceed. Just keep the lights dim.

Damnit man. That sounds horrible.

Nah, being sick last week would of sucked. Second hernia repair is much easier than 1970's version.
Been lots of reading and staying current. Lucky had one week of frozen food stretch into two. With rice and quinoa. And CBD oils taken internally should be medically prescribed WWW.
Really ready for some good basketball.

Last week, this mama duck had 7 small babies swimming around on our pond. . We were sitting on the lanai having our coffee watching the birds and squirrels fight over the food in our feeders. Old people shite.
All the sudden something swooped down and all the wildlife in our yard went ape shite, ran and started squeaking. This juvenile bald Eagle swooped down right in front of us out of no where and grabbed a baby duck off the pond. He flew over to the house behind us and ate it on the roof. About 20 mins later, he flew off the roof and grabbed another one, took it back to the roof and ate it.
This morning, she only has 2 left. About 15 mins ago, this hawk swooped down and tried to snatch one and missed. He is now sitting in the tree just outside my pool fence watching these bitches swim on the pond and squawk at him.

fricking hell. Sucks to be at the bottom of the food chain.

Watched four deer just off the back deck couple days ago. Microwave sounded and their ears perked up. I know they don't appreciate the food chain as well as we do. Sounds like you have natural selection in progress.
So. . .from spring I'm waiting on the rain and then suddenly everything is flow-able (made up word). everything from the Mason Dixon down. Got a brand new boat, never been in the water, so even flowing flat water would be fun. Retirement paddlers are the worst. They've networked successfully for so long the group I'm with will boat 7 or 8 days in a two week span. Nice dichotomy with college kids rounding out many a mid week.
eta: I'm just bored.

Nothing much sexier than a ponytail bobbing on an athletic woman first thing in the morning. Yoga pants and spandex tops don’t hurt either.

Speaking of sexy, I bought my wife ( no pics) some Christmas gifts that should make her feel sexy af.
Pajamas:
Bamboo sheets
Ultra comfy Spa towels set x3
Now I need to find a good pillow and a nice houserobe. BTW Temperpedic pillows arent something to write home about.
