Rub with sea salt, pepper, garlic, Montreal steak seasoning and put on a rack in a pan in the fridge over night uncovered. Take out 1-2 hrs before cooking depending on size. I did a little under an hour because I forgot but mine was only 3.4lbs. Preheat oven to 250F, put temp probe in thickest part not touching bone. I take out when reaches 115F but I like it RARE. Loosely cover with foil for 30 mins to rest. Turn oven to 500-550F. After rest and oven up to temp put in oven uncovered for 5-8 mins watching closely to brown outside. Cut and serve, no need to rest again.

I would have bet a c note you had those on the grill. Very nice...

So a little stroll through the neighborhood today. Sorry for all the pictures but its a very nice place for a walk or light jog. I will certainly miss this place when we move soon. Such a great neighborhood

Lanier's temporary home.

Back Entrance

Nice pond at the entrance

Unfortunately, my mama duck lost her battle with the predators. She has lost her last 2 ducklings since yesterday. She had 7 a few weeks back, now they are all gone

This guy is the most consistent guy in the area. If its sunny, he will be in that exact position, in that exact same direction. LOL.

This little bastard was 5 feet away from me when I walked by. He is about 15"long. He was not scared of me at all. He would take your finger off in a second

This is my favorite pond. That gator lays there all day. It has some nice fish in there too. I was seeing a few roam the beds last week but they have backed off since the weather cooled down.

Now I can have wings and beer for dinner

yes, and I do occasionally. I have a bike (cruiser). I grab a rod and a pocket full of lures and ride around fishing them when Im home during the day Spend about 15 mins or so then move to the next pond. Our neighborhood has over 100 ponds in it. The only ones I cant fish are ones on the golf course but I sneak in on some of them late in the afternoon after all the guys have finished playing

Its pretty fun to get to fish like that again

Spinnerbait , swimbait and a small wacky rig seems to be the best bets

The pond behind my house is one of the best. I tried today for about 15mins but the water temp has dropped this week and they didnt bite. Everything here knows taht something is about to happen with the weather. The wildlife is going crazy. All of my squirrels are frantically building nests. Its funny to watch them

I hate these calorie trackers. I ran 4.5 miles this AM. My calorie tracker says I burned 448 calories or almost half what you did.

There is no way its working correctly. I think the milage is pretty close as is the steps but not the calorie. Also has a blood pressure and heartrate monitor but unless my BP is 108/70, its not working.

I checked the pulse rate on there. Said my resting HR was 60 which is about right. Typically 55-60 for me. Then walking, it put meat 110 which is probably correcty as I was walking pretty fast. I did a light jog for 1/2 mile and it said my hr was 118.
My HR was probably 150-160

In reality, you probably do burn half the calories I do in the same time.

Thank you very much. Will get them done Monday.

I probably need to breakdown and just order 100 of each. It doesn’t matter what the conditions are, my wife wants the buzzbait. We went on a mild winter day last year when water temps were low to mid 50’s. She threw the buzzbait all damn day. She didn’t catch as many as me, but her best 5 woulda out weighed my best 20. Unfortunately for me, but good for you, the Cahaba and the spots are rough on buzzbaits.

Unfortunately, I am about to run out of those heads. I am not even sure how many more of the 1/8 I have. I may add a different style of the 1/8 to replace the one you like. More of a fish head design. It would sell better. Your wife wouldnt know the difference.

Strike King makes the only other functional mini-buzzbait. They call theirs a 3/16ths, but it's really a compact 1/8th or even 1/4. I like it in the summer though because you have to burn it to keep it up top.

Nothing at all tonight. Rainy and cold here. Listening to Gilmour at Pompeii and thinking about dinner.

Made some buzzbaits for 96’s wife (no pics) today.

Only gonna be in town one more day. Thinking about a pizza and a drank.

My son would love the pizza. And I would love both. We don’t get pizza often. Heading north tomorrow night at mid night when
My wife gets off work.
