I really don't understand how everything you've listed isn't painfully obvious to people. To build what he envisions, the first thing he needs is players, and player buy in. He hasn't brought in players at positions of glaring need, or achieved player buy in...they are leaving almost daily

Even the players he praised the first 2 he pointed out on offense Var Johnson and Bo both said peace out. Those were the first 2 that he was praising in the early spring for their dedication and work ethic. Then you had Wright on the DL and he got injured. So the first few aren’t even playing now with the exception of Wright and he’s changing positions again.

Like I said months ago the Boise way has worked no other place then BSU. Even Petersen couldn’t get it done after some of the cache wore off at UW. He had a couple decent recruiting classes then went to shite. There have been coaches respected by Boise fans more then Harsin that went else where and flopped. AU is the biggest job any of them have taken on and it’s a complete cluster. Can’t even fricking hire a real OC. Clown town shite

There has been absolutely no movement on the OC front, seems strange. Then the one staffer leaves for Northern Iowa OC job, before we made our hire. Something seriously bad most be going on backstage.

I said it yesterday, it's like he is being left to twist in the wind. Like he is having to overcome more than we know about to get shite done. Or he just flat out doesn't get it.

Tough talk that’s all that idiot has done. He’s been a complete disaster other then his catch phrases. 4th and 1 mentality. 1-0 in everything we do. Blah blah blah.

Horrible in game coaching, horrible finishing games, horrible recruiting, terrible job endearing himself to the fan base and community, horrible recruiting again, running off players for whatever reasons, terrible job filling needs within the portal, can I say horrible recruiting again…. Add on whatever else you like because it’s multiple more

Hey guys, I've been really busy with work lately so I haven't had much time to comment.

Just wanted to state that CorchJay gets big props for his early stance on this whole thing, even though I know a lot of it was stemming from undying devotion to the last coach ( ). Good job Corch!

Harsin is looking like a trainwreck right now. He got the benefit of the doubt for a while, and it was going well at certain points (with some clear movement towards promise), but he's fallen off the rails and this whole thing seems to be imploding.

The biggest issue is that he seems that he has zero idea or will to understand what it takes in this conference. That's fine early on if it's something he was willing to learn and adapt to (which I assumed was his intention), but he looks delusional right now and several of his things he is dead-set on seem untenable. Recruiting, relationships, etc, etc. are just a mess and he is displaying the same (or worse) egomaniac tendencies that Gus had.

He seems to actually think that that he can field a team of Hicks Poors' and "coach them up" to contention status in this conference.

He can kiss my arse if he thinks this. Harsin talked a good game and I thought he had a good plan but if all this is his style, then yes, I was very wrong and sad for our football program.

Expectations changed, in my opinion, after we beat Ole Miss. Then again when we were on the cusp of a top 10 class, with key OL transfer targets visiting. Right or wrong they did. The frustration set in when everything suddenly imploded in several areas.

I’m not a Gus lover was just a supporter. OL and WR which I complained about was my issues with Gus. I actually liked all the different changes within the offense over the years some wanted to continue to run the 2013 offense it that offense doesn’t work without Nick Marshall. But at least Gus and crew kept talent and if there was a hole could go get a starter level player like Stidham at QB or A Council at OL.

The name of the game is talent. You either get it or you don’t.

You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken shite.

And as far as hiring decisions the only hiring choice Gus made that I disagreed with was Kodi just didn’t think he was ready and it definitely showed his first couple years in recruiting and on the field. He got better but was starting from such a low point

I didn’t want to believe this and a part of me still doesn’t. I know I hardly showed that and was mostly quiet about my opposition to your opinions. However, I can’t deny the players leaving, coaches leaving, and the horrible finish in recruiting is forcing me to reassess my opinions. We are a train wreck

Rocky I get it bro Tater ToT had me fooled many years ago especially when he hired Wayne Hall as DC. We thought Bobby Bowden offense with Pat Dye defense and got that for 2 years but he didn’t recruit he was ok with taken FSU’s second tier recruits.

I feel the same now that Harsin seems to think he can out coach the coaches in the SEC and he maybe can on equally talented teams. Similar to this year against Ole Miss. problem is this years team will be his most talented for at least the next 4-5 years unless NIL Auburn makes a difference or something crazy starts happen in the portal. But he had a more talented/experienced roster then probably 3 teams and went 6-7.

Also makes you wonder was it even worth firing Gus. That’s where we are at now.

And I’m not even calling for Harsin to be fired just someone on the staff or in the admin needs to grab him by the collar and say you need to see what’s happening in real time. We have to start getting some things right.

Hell I could be back on the train with just some right decisions but since about the PSU game it’s been like why the hell did he do that and seemed to get worse and worse up to signing day yesterday. I’m willing to give him this year but I need to see more change and less talk of change.

And I’m so sick of hearing Gus had soft players, was soft culture, and so on… I went to practices on occasions and was working friends with Chip Lindsay and trust me nothing about practices was soft. Coach G soft or associated with soft? frick that that dude never stopped bitching someone out.

Or if blocking Steele getting the job was wrong

It was time for a change even tho I think Gus probably takes last years team to around 9-3… long term fans had lost interest in the team. Tuberville was right about 12 years is about as long as you can stay at a school before you’ve worn out your welcome.

No thanks on Steele as a head coach. Think he did a great job here but no to head coach.

When a change is made I don’t mind getting away from AU players or even away from retread SEC coaches but they better be ready to compete with the big dogs 247.

Is it possible that people loyal to the Nix family are trying to sink Harsin?

A poster on rivals with 12 messages in 17 years there says Harsin is out. I’m suspicious. Just passing along…
