No, I say he has two more years to get some sort of positive result. Maybe get to 8 or 9 wins next year and 10-12 the year after.

Gus has some work to do. He is still learning to be a college head coach. I'll give him time. I'm tired of the coaching carousel.

I'll give CGM credit for the bye week improvement and really we are mostly disappointed because of the high expectations this season.

Same here. I'm not one for moral victories, but I don't think we are in the same boat as 2012 where we didn't have a choice. I don't think he's lost the team and I think we are headed in the right direction. He clearly needs some real help with playcalling though.

Playing devil's advocate, what gives you this opinion based on our past two seasons of results?

We made our choice, rolled the dice, made the bed, whatever... time to stick with the guy for a little while and see what he can do.

I'll be perfectly honest too, i want JJ gone before we have to make our next football coaching hire.

I'm speaking of this season as it has progressed, not from 2013.
I think we finally have a QB. We have solid running backs. We have a defensive coordinator that is getting a lot of PT for young players that he recruited.
We just haven't put it all together in one game yet this year, but I still think that game will come. I think we could build some momentum toward 2016 and come back under the radar like we do best.
