Pretty sure that's the corner of the students section. Looked like they were pretty bunched up there.

Yea I think that is how it was. I was really surprised with the way the crowd looked and sounded. I was curious as to how it would feel...like if it seemed like a normal game....now we all know it wasnt at that level...but still a pleasant surprise at how full it seemed.

Pretty sure the broadcasts are adding to the noise somewhat. They're actually using recordings from home games in the NFL. They used Saints fans from old broadcasts on Monday Night Football this week.

Not sure that it's to that extent for college, but most any game you watch, definitely has more background noise than ~20% of a stadium can make.
