Be careful. You'll harvest the downvotes if you point that out.

I honestly don't think either of them get 2nd round. 2nd round with all the talent coming out this year is going to be tight

To be fair, anytime he faced NFL DBs, his QB was usually facing NFL DLs and running around like a loon, which severely limited Seth’s opportunities.

That dude in the South Carolina game absolutely dominated Seth. There were times he was struggling to get off the line of scrimmage 3 seconds into the play. I cooled on Seth's NFL prospects after that one.

If my NFL team drafted Schwartz in either the 2nd or 3rd I would be pissed. Maybe a 5th round flier, but anything higher than that is a huge reach. His straight line speed is obviously world class, but he doesn’t have the size and strength needed at this stage. He is straight line fast, but not very “quick”. How many contested catches did he make? Can he make guys miss, create on his own in space? Can he get off the line of scrimmage without motion?

I really like Schwartz, don’t get me wrong, but he needs another year. If football is his ticket, then he needs a full offseason of “football” s&c only. His base has to get stronger so he’s not knocked over immediately upon contact. He needs to work on his lateral quickness and show an ability to work the middle of the field. He has to be able to get open on his own without relying on just scheme.

A team took Derrius Hayward Bay in the first based on speed. 4.3 40 at combine. He was also 6’ 2” 210 lbs when he came out which is an incredible size/speed combo. I believe Schwartz would have to have a ridiculous combine to be drafted higher than the later rounds. My hope is that he means he will submit for feedback from the nfl and come back one more year to focus solely on football.
