Hopefully he is just seen as a backup. He will make a great backup.

Just committed.
He did fine for Jimbo and improved alot over the season, and projecting his trajectory he improves the QB room. Apparently he's a stone cold bad-arse as far as toughness and his aTm teammates loved him. If he just improves normally he's our starter and a pretty good one. Probably a 4-6 guy in the conference. He was 56%/17/9/2100 last year. What if that is 62%/22/7/2500 for AU? Beat the brakes off the last guy and his teammates like him as a bonus.

Soooo, does this mean that we are out of the Caleb Williams sweepstakes?

Bumping these stats to the new page. Feeling cute. Might do it again.

we lost a record holder Qb at Auburn and took aTm and LSU's leftover Qbs. What a disaster

No idea but I would have to assume so. We just committed a guy that started 10(?) games in the SEC last year. I'm pleased. Jimbo puts a ton of shite as far as reads, and understanding coverages and such on his QB's so CALZONE! will walk in knowing what he's looking at on the other side of the ball. Harsin does the same with his QB's. I see alot of positives.

(edit) He also played at Buford HS, IIRC. They have about 5-6 players I'm sure we'd like to talk to each year. That also means that CALZONE! probably threw the ball 15 times a game. He's got some upside and a huge arm.

highlights

here's some throws from this past year. maybe i'm forgetting, but we haven't dimes like these in a couple of years. he's a nice floor to work with and definitely a setup up from TJF.

ESPN has Bo at 60.9 percent completion in league play. Fun stat: he completed 48% and 52% of his passes vs GA St and ASU.

I like your enthusiasm bro, but I’d like to have a QB with over 60% completion percentage for a change.

Was Bo’s career completion percentage above 60?

Cling to stats w/o context. Embrace em. Nix’s,even then, were better, but you can have a slither of justification to push back against the dissonance you receive.

Better than what? I am just pointing out Bo was not the leagues top 3 accurate passer through 10 games or league play.

He'll improve. Isn't CALZONE! a Soph and was a first year starter? Jimbo runs an NFL-like system at the college level with respect to what responsibilities he puts on his QBs. I don't want to compare him to anyone else in the portal but I feel comfortable that he's probably 95th percentile on the facets of the game and playing QB. Intangibles are he's a team guy and has a big arm. Lots to like IMO.
