He had a lot of drops as well.

A lot of those “drops” were not well thrown balls. Or he’d double pump and give the DBs time to break up the pass.

I wasn’t on here back then…

What I do see from you is black QB good white QB bad since I’ve been here so how else would I perceive it since your QB takes are so horrendous and no logical person would come to such conclusions other then something outside of football.

Mike G is a fan boy of Holden because he is behind Robby on the depth chart if he was in front of Robby it would be Holden has no experience I would rather play Robby who has experience because all but CW and B-Will have been called out for their blatant racism on there shows.

ll also add the ones complaining about not getting a “big name” QB out of the portal that will take a load of cash to get tho is tuition of students has something to do with acquiring talent on the football team and thinks yella wood needs to buy all our players for us.

So now if a fan doesn’t give $34 a month to an insane program system, they can’t have an opinion?

Get off your high horse.

No not saying anyone can’t have an opinion but sounds like you’re good with telling others how to spend their money to make the program better. Seem pretty hypocritical to me. I’m not giving to a broken system but want the broken system to go get players to make my wishes for the program to get better.

Yes, you did. You pointed to his stats then proceeded to ignore drops

I gave you his stat line and said none of those are good games without any commentary on his completion %.

Hard to really tell if it were good or not based on the drops.

No very easy to tell.

After the Iron Bowl, I didnt think, Damn thorne, cost us the game! Did you?

Well damn. That’s our new standard for good QB play? Jesus Christ....

You need to take blzr’s advice and stick with t ball. You sound like an idiot talking about PT playing well besides 2 games. And then, you go straight to race because someone has a differing opinion than your own. Mike G has a press pass, and you have the record for the most downvotes of any poster on this board because of the stupid shite you say. And what’s worse is you actually think you’re smart. Geez

There’s a reason they have adjusted completion percentages - for drops by the receivers.

You are one of the guys talking about how great our receivers were going to be early in the season when some of us brought that up as a concern.

So much experience. It was a legitimate concern. Players don’t make major jumps in a season. Few do. Thorne is going to be exactly the same guy next year that he is this year. Maybe slightly better. Maybe worse.

Few make big jumps and we need a big jump so we are not 6-6 or 7-5 again.

you posted stats, then said i dont care about the drops. Therefore, you were inferring his completion percentage was subpar. Stop pretending otherwise.

Well his performance wasnt bad in the IB despite the stat line you posted.

I wasn’t clamoring anything other than the footage we saw. If you are talking about buying into hype what we hoped the WR group could be. Yeah I think we all thought the offense was going to be solid and the defense poor. Especially after watching the spring game. But neither were true

Irrelevant.

Chex is trying to drag this into an argument over completion % because absolutely no one can tell me Thorne was having good games out there.

In what game would you have taken Thorne over the opposing QB? I would’ve taken NMSU’s over him. Let alone Milroe/Dart/Beck

Rank the SEC QBs and tell me where Thorne is on your list. I can’t believe how low the standards have become for an Auburn QB. Blows my mind.

Only reason I can see is it looks like we aren’t getting a transfer so everyone is talking themselves into positivity.

I have not called freeze and told him what to do. We are just internet jockeys talking to each other. I’m sure freeze hasn’t looked here for advice.

But you have some kind of need to keep reminding everyone you are donating. I donated to season tickets , with a donation , for a long time. Plus I gave the fishing program more cash in one check that you will give in your lifetime. Don’t act like you are something special.

This is a discussion among nobodies about whether we need a new QB or not.

No need to measure dicks.

I said I don’t care about drops because that’s always the first argument.

Well the argument is with good QB play not with “not bad” QB play.
