Freeze likes giving gifts I suppose. He will probably get one after next year in the form of a Ryder truck if he keeps coaching so well

That's cool it's your opinion. Doesn't mean you're right by any stretch of the imagination

When there is far more data supporting me than you it becomes much less of an opinion and more of a fact

You're right. He's done a great job with the development of our roster the past 2 years. Look at all the wins he's pulled out. Stellar in the development category. By 2035 we should reach 7-8 wins. Maybe one of those freeze developed qbs will be good to go by then too

Freeze likes pumping his ego, winning and incentive money.

You are barking up some dumb tree.

The gift he's giving the defense is Thorne. He's apparently too dumb to realize that he sucks donkey balls and continues putting him on field.

Defense is improved. Lew and Wright have grown. Lew is still not a finished product but he's better. Runningbacks stopped fumbling. The offensive side of the ball outside of the line is starting a bunch of transfers and freshmen. You're not gonna see the development you're looking for when that's the case.

O-line coach could probably go. We need a guy that can take the mid tier guys and make a unit out of them.

Do you not realize that is what college football will be from now on? Every roster will be sprinkled with transfers. If the coaches can't get everyone playing as a unit regardless of transfer portal or high school recruitment, using that logic no one will ever get developed.

True freshmen and one year guys? Nahh it won't. You wanna talk development? We'll talk next year. But I really don't think we can have that talk about quarterbacks in full faith til year after next. Walker will have had two years at that point and it will be all on freeze.

Sounds like a plan. Next year we will see where this football team stands in terms of development. It may benefit freeze to find better assistants and staffers this off-season. If he puts out a product next year like he has this year he won't get year 4.

All depends on the qb we get out of the portal. If he can manage an even record in the conference next year he'll be safe. Anything less and the seat will be hot. A repeat of this year and he's obviously gone.

Do you believe ,based on last year and this year in terms of coaching ability, you see a big change next season? I'm starting to wonder if freeze is not a game day coach and the culture he's bringing to auburn is not a good fit.

The culture narrative is made up by fans. If there was an issue with culture he wouldn't be recruiting like he is.

After looking at the roster I think the best course of action is grab a 2 year guy out of the portal. We lose the whole o-line outside of Connor. But if we get some development and the o-line can actually be better next year paired with a good qb then I have complete faith based on what I've seen this year Hugh can call a top offense in the SEC. And there's no reason to think the defense doesn't get better. Too many question marks to make a prediction rn.

He is not recruiting. He is buying players. Not the same. Let’s see how many hit the market when we go 3-9 and are in the SEC basement.
