I am 6'3, somewhere around 228. Waist about 38. Got a little belly and work out a shite ton. I got a fricking neck though. My neck is 18.
That sized neck puts me at wearing a window drape with a waist size of 52. I tried it on and felt like Buddy Love
Well anyway ProperCloth is supposed to be able to be tailor your dress shirts and pants with AI smart sizing and umpteen customizations available so I just need to know if it's worth the highly expensive ticket of about 185.
Before we begin: Trying to find a local tailor around here would give me a headache. I'd have to pay for that in extra time and money as well. Just give me the go ahead

I bought two. White and light blue.
They are holding the white until they know for sure the other one fits great. I feel little better about the purchase because of that.
I still think basing the sizing of a shirt primarily on the neck opening is retarded. 99% of the time I don't even use the top buttom so my more practical fit is 17 standard cut with a tailoring probably closer to 16's cut.

Yes. I have and still sometimes do.
I do most of my business shirts through PC. For casual stuff I've switched over to Peter Millar. Have a few jackets too. I've probably done 2-4 pairs of slacks there over the years but have never loved them. Not a quality or a sizing issue (they'll make it right) but I think pants are the hardest thing for me to dial in.
All the remake stuff is legit.

What do you mean by remake?

Like remaking things that don't fit like you expected or you want differently. It's pretty hassle-free.

I need to send in some white label Peter Millar shirts that swallow me whole then. I am liking what I am hearing.
Will try the pants too. Can't hurt. I have a bigger waist than arse so pants always fit baggy.

Sorry, I mean stuff they make for you based on your guesses/estimates at sizing and fit that you don't like. I don't think they tailor other brands. I was always just apprehensive about these online MTM type things because I would feel bad taking shots in the dark and then returning them and making them redo it, etc. But it's built into their system and there is no friction.
My issue with their pants wasn't really fit or quality, but almost that they seemed "overbuilt" vs. off the rack stuff, if that makes sense. Which I appreciate in some sense but not for everyday/casual wear. I'm sure if I experimented with different weights of fabric or whatever I could probably dial it in, but for pants I'm pretty settled on the PM eb66 stuff.

Here is a size large Peter Millar. Again I am 6'2 and 228. This mofo is close to swallowing me in length and width.
