The only good thing about him and nicks is the Mac n cheese and biscuits

There BBQ is definitely not worth 16 bucks a place or whatever it is though

From my time in auburn, BBQ house and mike and Ed's were hands down the best BBQ

I didn't realize they had a Jim n nicks there. It's good in bham area. But the point is BBQ in AU isn't that good. In fact it sucks. Got a problem with dat?

BBQ house is fine but not anything spectacular. Jim N Nicks is good in bham not the best. Saws is the best , dreamland is next. Just an opinion

Chuck's was better before he sold it. Even the other Chucks that was next to BuffConn back in the early 2000s was really good. Dunno why it shut down - it seemed to always have a busy lunch.

Mike and Ed's has always been awesome.

BBQ House is average -- their breakfast though...

EDIT: BTW, if any of you guys ever make your way to Charlotte for business (or a panthers game!) make sure to go to Mac's Speed Shop for BBQ = awesome

I grew up going to Byron's, so I'll always be partial to it. But my dad's store used to be next to Country's. And after smelling that place for years, I'll never go there.

And as for Birmingham, Miss Myra's FTW

Miss Myra's. You keep overlooking it when you list Bham BBQ, and that is a travesty.

And Mike and Eds is the best in Auburn.

We have a Country's BBQ here in Greensboro, NC. Not sure if it's the same chain, but our is pretty good. I haven't eaten there in years, but they have a pork tenderloin biscuit that's awesome.

I worked at the Chucks in Auburn in the mid-late 90s

Rob, the owner sold it to become a policeman and it didn't last much longer with the new owners. It was the best BBQ in Auburn, IMHO.

Anybody remember the BBQ place that used be across form tendachick, where the Cvs is now, on dean. It was called 13th or 16th street BBQ. They used to have a line out of the door everyday, then just shut down.
