I guess he could play both but Auburn is specifically recruiting him for the LB position.

‘25 4* Edge Jared Smith was impressed by what he saw Faulk do on Saturday as a freshman. He’s been to Auburn twice now and plans to be back for the iron bowl

This was meant as a compliment not a slight. Jamien Sherwood is one of the best safeties to come through Auburn in years. Even being compared to him is a massive compliment
