As for the OP, I believe this is going to be more common with the portal and the unknowns are the challenge. Team chemistry is the biggest challenge and how they handle adversity (much harder I would think). Transfers are intended to fill gaps and build quality depth each year but Freeze had to use it to build another team this year so the two groups would be pretty evenly matched. That’s a positive with a new coach more so than an existing coach having to do it. The numbers should drop off drastically after this year and continue to drop if a coach is recruiting HS correctly and has a good environment and plenty of NIL.

I laughed at the thought we have a chance of 9-4 with 43 new players on our team.
Chex responded to me first and then responded with Bible verses (first red flag)
