I guess I'll take your word for it. All the frat stuff doesn't make much sense to me.

The fraternity isn't gonna tag their name like that when it gives a bad light. Usually it'll be a member of another fraternity trying to bring bad light on their enemy. ATO did it last spring with a "shite Farmhouse Says" twitter.

Maybe that'll show some entrepreneur enough interest to take a risk and franchise out a Whataburger to AU.

Isn't the Steak n' Shake going to be in Opelika? Over by Gander Mtn., near TigerTown?

Right next to the Waffle House in Tiger Town.

Since both of those are close to me, my late night dining options will increase significantly

Always thought that's where they should've put the hypothetical 24 hour Krispy Kreme.

24 Hour Dunkin' is more likely at this point, considering how much they're expanding into Alabama

Dunkin has grown on me. Used to not like them.

I got blue balls thinking Whataburger was coming to AU...frickin bastards.
Not that it matters for me anymore, but I would of loved Whaties while I was at Auburn. Best fast food burger IMO.

Because donuts places in Auburn fail. See Daylight Donuts.

Location is key. Daylight Donuts was in a shitty location far away from campus. For a donut shop to succeed in Auburn it is either going to have to be on Magnolia Ave or Downtown College or on campus.

Daylight Donuts product was terrible too.

I liked it.

Their burger there was actually incredible. They made buns out of the same dough that they make the donuts out of. Really, really good. Plus they used similar seasoning as Milo's on fries. I went their for lunch a shite ton.

I was never impressed with their donuts. I went probably 8 times or so (all for donuts/coffee) and it never left a great impression on me.

I already got a real answer.

And Square D is still running pretty well...their spot by the smoothie place across from the Bookstore is clutch.

This. A 24-hour doughnut shop in downtown Auburn would kill IMO.
