Nick Saban really struggled at Jordan Hare Stadium

After Kevin Scarbinsky wrote last week that "With Nick Saban gone, nobody fears playing at Jordan Hare Stadium", I looked up Saban's record at JHS because I couldn't remember his exact record when he brought LSU here to play.

While at LSU, Saban was 0-3 at JHS and all 3 losses were against Tuberville. Then Saban lost again to Tuberville when he played at JHS his first year at Alabama 2007. So he was 0-4 against Tuberville at JHS.

He was 1-3 at JHS against Gus. So Saban was 1-7 against Tuberville and Gus at JHS. But Saban was 2-0 against Chizik, 1-0 against Harsin and 1-0 against Freeze in JHS. Saban's total record at JHS was 5-7

However, he only lost 1 home game to Auburn during his time at LSU and Bama. That loss was the 2010 "Camback" to Chizik. Saban was 2-0 in Baton Rouge and 1-0 in Tuscaloosa vs Tubs. He was 1-1 in Tuscaloosa vs Chizik, 4-0 in Tuscaloosa vs Gus and he was 1-0 vs an interim Cadillac in 2022 in Tuscaloosa.

Saban's 3-4 overall record against Tuberville was his only losing record against an Auburn coach. Since Saban retired, he has said that he felt like he always coached "tight" in JHS, whether he was the LSU or Bama coach. The record shows.
