Auburn wouldn’t waste more money on a search firm and use all this time on interviews to hide Kevin Steele. We’re making a hire this weekend baws

It feels good just to hear Napier's name.

Gotta feeling he’ll walk away with an offer.

Tony Elliott played ball at Clemson in the early 2000s.

He has been on staff there since 2011.

He has been their primary play caller since 2015.

Nothing wrong with the guy honestly. He has just kinda been grinding at Clemson for years in the shadows.

No idea how he'd interview. I have seen Venables speak on several occasions, but I have never seen much from him.

He is solid. Not Clemson's best recruiter, but he has brought in a ton of talent.

He was primary on Etienne. Stole him from LSU.

I could get on board for any of Sark, Elliot and Napier. Napier would be my top choice but I would be content with the other guys.

I’d have a bigger gap between Napier and Elliot but other than that agree

Dan Quinn, who everyone here universally hates, fired Sark.

And hired Koetter, and then got himself fired. Dan Quinn's judgement should NOT be a factor in anything.

Sark and Steele would be interesting.

I don’t think any coach is keeping Steele

Yeah. I really hate it for the guy tbh. I woulda loved to keep him on defense but at this point if he’s not HC he’s gotta go.

Jay G Tate says Neal Brown might be entering the discussion as a compromise candidate.

I’m not sure what the compromise is though.
