No, because (1) the only years I've ever lived in the state of Alabama were my Auburn years and I wasn't around Bama "meanies" then and (2) neither UGA nor LSU nor UT nor UF nor etc etc have made it part of their lifes work to not only beat us on the athletic fields, not only to destroy our TRADITIONS, but to destroy Auburn itself.

Maybe you weren't around in the days when AU was bigger than Bama yet still funded LESS than Bama (I was). I wasn't around in the days of API when "the University" politicians and lawyers frequently attempted to *eliminate* Auburn.

Maybe, after all that, even after you now know, you don't believe they'd ever try anything like that again, even to a minor extent.

That's your right. You just keep your close eye on UGA/LSU/UT/UF/etc because they're "you're" rival.

Because they count on that. And have these many, many years.
