My buddy got me turned on to the Voodoo Rangers and they are now one of my two go to beers. The other is the Bama Mosa, which technically is beer, but very different.

I like them voodoo rangers too! You must be fairly local to see the same kind of IPAs that I see. fat tire, naked pig, etc

I love the hopsy haze.

I’ll have to give the hopsy haze a try if I see it. I’ve kinda gotten hooked on anything with orange or citrus to it. The Publix near me has a great huge selection. I’ve sat staring at the case forever trying to figure out what to try.

It is amazing how taste is so different. I dont drink a lot of beer but when I do, it is girly beer. I have tried so man IPA's and honestly, I dont think I have made it through a single one of them.

You mentioned Sweetwater. I have a friend who buys them by the pallet. I trid to drink one and I couldnt make it through half of it. I just dont like that taste

He loves them

I tried some kind of orange flavored beer. Summer shandy or something like that.

One man died and I was gifted his collection of IPAs. He probably had a hundred different kinds of IPAs. I set out to drink them all and it was a chore i failed at, but the vast amount of flavors is stunning. Just off the off my head i remember: Vanilla, strawberry, pecan, root beer, and Hazlnut. Lot of the stuff I couldn't drink. I threw my man card away as I poured many out.

Speaking about footbaw though:

LSU - blowout against cupcake
Ole Miss - 17 point win over Tulane, shaky until the 4th
Bammer - we know what happened yesterday
aTm - Blowout loss against Miami
State - 7 point OT win against Zona
Arky - very very bad win over Kent State

yeah this edition of tWest ain't very good

We will probably beat State and Vandy.Vandy is tricky though because we are never playing Vanderbilt at our best. That is why they lead the head to head.

Remember when we struggled against Vandy and injured Sean white had to come into the game to tell John Franklin III to take a hike. That is usually the type of team we are by the time we play Vandy. How Vandy secured that kind of black magic I have no clue.

Actually we are tied with them and the reason for that is a loooong time ago. We are 15-2 against them since 1955.

The Vanderbilt is tied to Auburn thing is really just a silly argument. All those wins for Vanderbilt happened almost 100 years ago. LOL.

Well we could be winning. Ive seen my fair share of 2 too many losses to them, and could have been three if not for injured Sean White.

I am showing we have lost 2 out of three to them. Easily could have been 3 out of 3 to them jokes.

historical perspective:

the first of those 2 losses came while the current junior us senator from AL was our HC - the following week we handed bobby petrino his first SEC win as HC at Arky

the 2nd loss came the week before we witnessed Johnny Manziel’s breakout performance in the game featuring the record for most opponent points allowed in AU history

tl;dr version - two games that occurred 10-15 years ago and have zero bearing on the current state of either program

ETA: I herby declare Lanier’s first ever virtual tailgate a success and look forward to more in the future

We lost to them in 2008 and 2012. Two of the worst years in Auburn history. The next loss is 1955

The Vandy is even with Auburn is just silly. It happened when our great grandfathers were riding bigwheels

We will beat them. You can quote me on that.

My point is that our team was never strong during the last three meetings thus advantageous for Vanderbilt. Naturally our current team isnt formidable and got Vanderbilt on the schedule again. I understand the evened up rivalry is mostly due to Vandy wins from 80 years ago. I love how you gloss over the last meeting when SW had to come in injured to win the game because JF3 failed hard. That same year we went to the Sugar Bowl.

Speaking of past results, I found something interesting in the Auburn-Sheep Lovers (i.e Clemson ) series:

From 1907-1921, we played 11 games during that time period:

Auburn scored 329 points during that time frame against Clemson

Clemson scored a touchdown against Auburn in that time frame. A single touchdown.

I’m with you. This is the year we pull ahead all time against Vandy. This one is in Nashville. I expect a heavy Auburn crowd.

Vanderbilt as also never won playing @ Auburn. 13 of their 21 wins was before Jordan-Hare was even built.
