PFF grades of 90.0-plus categorize as elite, 80.0-89.9 are good/high quality, 70.0-79.9 fall under average and 69.9 or lower are considered below average

- Bo Nix’s adjusted completion % vs. UGA, per PFF: 87.5% (!) (Take away the drops)

Its Bo's Fault

why not keep adjusting until he’s at 100%?

I wish we would move on from Nix. He hasn’t gotten any better. He isn’t stepping up in the pocket. He isn’t floating the ball to the receivers. And lastly, he isn’t running for his life with grace.

Hunter wide open with 2 blockers out in front on that play. Just has to read that quickly.

Easier said than done. Let’s get Nakobe Dean charging you right out the gate and see how well you react.

You think Gatewood makes that throw?

But in a real world where real football is played it’s more then likely a misread by the running back and leaking out before checking if there is a blitzer coming. But you could be right to could have been a play designed to get your QB killed by one of the best linebackers in the country to throw a swing pass to the running back behind the line of scrimmage. I’ll let you decide on your own what you think they play call probably was.

To add to that, Nix probably has a psychological complex now because he hasn’t had great protection for three years.

For as much heat as he takes I bet he’d play pretty well with Georgia or Alabama’s supporting cast.

Video would be better in analyzing a play.

I still see the stats showing him as 10th in completion % in the SEC in 2021, 10th in 2020, 10th in 2019.

When you come in 10th 3 years in a row the common denominator eventually becomes you.

I trust these coaches to play their best QB. But I also watched them call a timeout to give TJ a chance to move the ball 55 yards in 38 seconds. They seem curious.

Ok now add in 23 drops on to his completion percentage and see where he is.

Nothing about Gus’s offense was high percentage throws. I might be mistaken but Cam was low 60s and had a much better OL. Marshall low completion percentage. Sean white low percentage. Stidham higher completion percentage but the only time I think he let the OC run the pass game but had a billion screens to Ryan Davis.

If you can’t see growth and improvement in Bo’s play this season I’m not sure what anyone can say to convince someone otherwise.

In my opinion Bo is in the top 3rd of the league In QB play this year. Right behind Ole Miss and UGA’s QBs. Right in front of Young at Bama. Then the rest. If Young starts playing better on th road he will jump Nix but for now I have Bo in front. Get a little better OL play and better WR play and Bo jumps the Ole Miss QB. Just don’t think UGA’s QBs will be put in any situations where they can frick things up

I did the work for you Bo would be at 70.2% on the season with out the “official” number of drops which I would say is a light number on the drops but will go with that number just for the sake of the argument. That would put Bo in 2nd place in the conference behind Will Rodgers for completion percentage. Bo is also 2nd in the conference in lowest interceptions behind Corral but has throw 40 more passes and should be tied because clearly the interception was no fault of Bo’s. But keep bringing stats and most of us will keep shooting down selective stats

Or in the real world, Hunter did what he was supposed to do and Nix was supposed to read the blitz and know he had a quick dump to Hunter

He has had three offensive coordinators. His line has always been ineffective against decent competition as well. There are a lot of reoccurring themes if you want to go that route.

True freshman Bo was pretty weak.
2nd year Bo was little better
Third year Bo I actually see improvement in accuracy. It’s not showing up but it’s there. 71% adjusted pass completion percentage

If Harsin wants to go to the transfer portal again, so be it, but Bo will beat him out too.

How can he read that our OL was just going to give him the red carpet to the QB?

In this case, can we also move away from our OL and WR units?

I don't know if I do at this point. Still too early in their time here to tell. Look at Heupel at Tenn. Folks are raving about his offense. Well, he went in the first games sure that Milton was the best option. Turns out he was wrong about that. Way wrong. I am not going to say TJ is better than Bo, but it would be interesting to see him play a full game and see what happens.

Gilbert can supposedly throw the football through the goalposts from his knee on the 50 yard line. I don’t blame Heupel for giving him a shot.

i think TF year was solid. He got his arse handed to on the road but did solid at home. Beat Oregon, atm, and Bama. 9-4 season with a bowl loss.
