The thing is he willingly went away from what worked. We don't know if his "gimmick" is up because we don't do any of those things that we did when we/he were successful. That's the most frustrating part of the whole thing.

You hit the nail on the head. There's so many elements of our offense in 2009 through 2014 that we just don't see anymore. It's incredibly puzzling

Somebody started a thread about but it is absolutely stunning that we ran Pettway 34 times today and didn't get a single carry to another running back. I just have no words for how absurd that his on so many levels and it was the catalyst to my thinking that Gus must be actively trying to get fired.

What would a coach who is trying to get fired do *differently* than Gus? Seriously, if I was trying to get fired and keep my buy out, what would I do differently?

I don't know how you can blow a 20 point lead to a team that lost to Troy and then blow it off by saying "well it's not the end of the world" unless you are trying to get fired.
