Armoni Goodwin Down 3 spots
Dematrius Davis Down 2 spots
Caleb Johnson Down 8 spots

I don’t typically worry about small drops. Johnson dropping 8 is mostly due to 247 bumping up a bunch of defensive guys since Johnson is in the lower portion of the top 247

Looks like every commit we have fell some. Mondon made the jump to 8 overall.

Tennessee’s recruits dropped a combined 125 spots lol.

Worth noting that Jeremiah Williams jumped ahead of Dylan Brooks at Weakside DE

247 adjusted their top 247. Minor adjustments for most Auburn guys due to people moving up and down around them.

Dylan Brooks tumbled 43 spots, nearly out of the top 100. Lee Hunter tumbled 40 spots, just outside the top 100.
Other notable moves

Scoob Williams moved up 8 spot & the #4 ranked WDE in the class. He is now ranked higher than Brooks at the Buck by 247 only.

Smael Mondon moved up 11 spots to #8 overall & the #1 ranked LB in the nation by 247 only.

ETA: Too late...Again!

Wonder how Randy will react to this news or even if he will accept it?

Maybe I am reading too much into this, but I like how we seem to be actually evaluating guys vs shooting for higher rankings.

Other guys to know are

4* Chase Smith
3* Rahiem Sanders
3* Prince Kollie

Kollie has a blue chip offer list. He might be my favorite. Sanders also looks like a bull at LB.

Revisiting this post.

Auburn has set Sanders off to the side for now. That relationship is good but I think Sanders is way down the board for AU and Sanders recently released a top 5 without Auburn.

The other update is with Kollie. 247 bumped his rating up and he’a a composite 4* now. I suspect his stock will keep rising. Still down the board right now but one to keep an eye on

KN posted a recruiting update.

Dematrius Davis is recruiting hard for Auburn. He’s helping us out with two OL: 4* Jaeden Roberts and 5* Mims. He’s close with both guys.

He’s also been talking to Dylan Brooks, FWIW.

4* OG Jaeden Roberts is starting to sound like a lock. Coaches like him at guard. He’s really, really close with Davis and said myself the coaches talk to him every day. Says he wants to commit before July.

It’s interesting he recently got a CB to LSU but didn’t even name them top 3.

Top 3 is Bama, Auburn, and OKST. Bama talks to him a good bit but I’ve been told they wouldn’t take a commitment until closer to signing day.

ETA: And by told, I mean my buddy that follows Bama recruiting very closely. But talk about him on the Bama boards by their mods is pretty slim

So this is what actually having an OL coach looks like?

Given your track record on being conservative & cautious when it comes to recruits I'm loving this bold opinion.

If we can land Roberts & stun UGA for Fairchild I will be a very happy camper.

Just glad Gus is letting him do that part of his job. It's a welcome change. Hopefully Gus has learned from his past mistakes there in the long run.

Just reading the tea leaves. He wants to commit soon. Bama isn’t taking him unless it’s late and Davis is going to be any other’s schools biggest obstacle to signing him.

Keith has even mentioned lately a few times how Gus was being over controlling with OL recruiting before Chad was hired as OC. I get brushing info to the side when it's just coming from "insiders" but them plus Keith's backing on it means it's a very high chance it's true whether we like it or not.

FWIW AuburnDuke on AUC says expects AU to become a real factor with Ian Jackson even though Bama leads right now.
