I’m melting bc we obviously have the talent to hang with many teams ie: UF, Ark, St. John’s; but coaching can’t figure it out.
We’ve finished out 2-9 and are getting boat raced by Bama. Help me make sense of it.

How can a bad team beat the #1 seed badly on the road, slam Arkansas, beat St. John’s
Just about beat a top 7 Houston, went into OT with UGA and basically beat A&M.
I played sports my entire life until adulthood and that equalization is coaching and putting all the chips together.

Holes in the roster will do that. Plus a coach that suspends your leading scorers.

Compared to last year yes, good coaching and team management and this is a low seed early out tournament team. We aren't even competing anymore and losing to teams significantly worse than us, with major stakes on the line, at home. That's not a roster issue that's a coaching/culture issue.
There are probably less than 10-12 teams with, on paper, a 1-2 punch like Hall and Pett. The leading scorer from a top 3 conference and one of the top handful of returning freshmen in the county. They have both significantly regressed under this staff and dragged the rest of the team down with them. Murphy has emerged as an above average big and Freeman, Overton, Jovic, and sometimes SWA are mid level role players. There are going to be way worse rosters that make the tournament.
