I just dont understand it. Dude was the guy of the future. He played 10 snaps this year, I do understand the redshirt situation, and now we are not even considering him.
You would think we has a sure thing with that being the case

I’m in between supporting him because good lord what a setback if we fire another coach and this guy obviously can’t coach and needs to go now.

It's not that deep. He was highly rated solely off of his potential to develop. He didn't play at a high enough level in high school to make the jump into college and play in his first year in anything other than the simplest of offenses. You saw a more advanced Bo Nix in the simplest of offenses and he struggled in his first year.

I think 80% of this board is in that same place. I know I am. Though more vocal about his ineptness. Others are just trying to shine him up to prove they were right about him
We are prolonging the inevitable, but your sentence is exactly right. We want him to go, but it's a setback if he gets fired now. I think it's one of those pay me now or pay me later situations that there is no correct answer for.
I am just glad I'm not the one making that decision with the amount of dollars involved.

Agreed. Yellafella needs to tell him to buy the best qb he can and win at least 8 and the bowl next year or go back to Liberty
