How bad is Conner Gibbs?

Look..... I'm really happy and impressed with the fact that McPherson willed himself back onto the field, but something has to change. This staff has put faith in a injured kid who probably needed another year to FULLY adjust to playing football again, and last week we to suffered for it. So I'm left wondering.... How bad is Conner Gibbs? Bad enough to get beat out by a recovering McPherson? Why is he on scholarship then? I had to ask.

I remember watching McPherson kicking an Alabama state record 62 yarder as a Sr in HS

Regardless, you give him a shot at 50ish after the starter was 0/2 from short
