Maybe Harsin needs to be more approachable. Just spitballing here but my way or the highway isn’t great because as you said, we are in a new era of football

Hard to know with this new reality.

LSU has 1 QB and it’s the incoming freshman. It’s a shitshow

There’s a huge gap between ‘my way or the highway’ and ‘letting the inmates run the asylum’. Especially these days as said, it’s very basic team politics and coaching.

Furthermore, it’s one thing to do my way or the highway if recruiting looks good or your team has a lot of talent. What’s left is frankly not good at all.

I’m not letting Auburn football get to me like I did in the past, but let’s just say I guess I’ll be fishing more next fall.

No. I'm just tired of this portal bull shite and the new age of football we are in.

It’s not really the portal. He graduated, so he’d be a grad transfer without it.

EDIT

I don’t see Saban caving to guys….

You create a culture of discipline and process. The cheap lawn chairs will fold up… Some will hurt, some won’t be noticed but you have to stay the course and believe in “your” process (i.e. what brought you to the dance).

Tank looked dejected last half of the season after we abandoned the run all too often. Also when he didn’t get the ball in a couple critical situations.

I remember seeing Tank looking pissed but thought a lot of that frustration would disappear with Bobo gone.

I support Harsin… but Harsin chose Bobo, so why should Tank believe he’ll choose any better the second time?

Gonna need to share with the board the way this week is stacking up.

I tend to agree. Tank didn’t ask for a new staff but stayed on board. The first season didn’t necessarily hurt him but also didn’t help. Now that OC is gone and there’s reason to believe that the OL and QB situation will be worse.

I’ve followed this kid since before he could drive a car. So it’s weird to be at this spot as a fan but we’re seeing what happens when a new coach comes in and doesn’t necessarily spark hope. Not to say Harsin won’t make it work but these are kids with dreams and goals and they now have avenues to pursue them outside of Auburn without barriers.

I thought when Harsin was hired it would be a rebuild. I was lulled into thinking that might not happen after the fast start but it’s looking more and more like the long process I originally imagined. And the landscape of the SEC isn’t getting any easier

Last half of season everyone we played sold out to stop the run (because they could) and reaped the benefits of making us beat them in the air.

Hate it or not that's the way I saw it.... And it wasn't a RB problem.
