Dude has absolutely struggled all year. I mean, yes he went to Columbus and beat Ohio State which is a huge win. No doubt to that.

But he has been behind, way behind in some, in every game this year to inferior opponents. Dude had to pull a win out of his arse in the last seconds of the game with Fresno State at home, now he is down to a very bad Stanford team and was getting beat by Arizona for most of the game and hell, they have not won a game in 2 years.

Whats up with your boy? His team is really not playing inspired football this year.

Just wondering your thoughts.

I absolutely do not think he sucks. I just think he needs to do something before I would want him. He doesnt seem to be able to get his teams to play. They looked bad in that Arizona game. You could see the potential with OSU but the other games, they have not played well

Cristobal’s teams play to their competition… that’s great against Oh St… not so much against against most of the pac 12. Plus, Stanford has just had Oregon’s number for years now it seems.

I’d take him though… he’s built a solid team there.

This is fair and accurate IMO. He’s a great recruiter but it seems like every game they are in is a dogfight.

Yea, he has a easy recruiting deal there. That would not be the same at Auburn. I think his team will beat Stanford, which they should but they have not played well all year other than one game

They dont look like the #3 team in the country

He can recruit like hell. Builds offensive lines that are great. His gameday coaching is lacking. He will finally put it all together sooner or later. Old Bowl Cut Kirby seems to have.

Duck Man hasn't lost yet today.

He is just out recruiting everyone. He has better jims and joes. Alabama will beat them again

Oregon and Duck Man are inconsistent. But with each years experience he will become more consistent. I really believe he will be one of two finalists to replace Saban. He will out recruit everyone at Bama.

They have struggled against teams such as Fresno and Stanford. Those aren't garbage teams. Stanford is improving and recently beat UCLA. Fresno has beat some good teams.

I think this is a decent comparison. Kirby was a really bad gameday coach early on. He seems to be getting better at that which sucks.

Exactly. I believe Duck Man will do the same.

BTW: I still believe that he would have been the Auburn hire if all of that shitstorm had not of occurred. I think at one point it was almost certain.

Remember Barkley's words: "We gone get the Duck Man"

I never thought he would come. I have no idea why he would. He has everything he needs where he is and has a very easy path.

True. But there is one major component that is not there: The SEC and the alure of coaching in the best conference in football.

I have a friend from out there and he is saying that since signing the contract Duck Man is telling them he is there to stay. He is swearing by it.

IMO: Until and if he replaces Saban.

I personally could not imagine being a college guy going to school at Oregon. Hairy, dirty, smelly hippie women is not my thing'

I’m sure people in Oregon think the same thing with different stereotypes about Alabama

I agree. Not a fan of those liberal hacks on the west coast. But this guy that I know is very, very conservative.
