At this point there are no locks for coaches that would come in here and win 10 games a year.
Look at Michigan, Texas, FSU, and others you can probably think of...
They thought they hired the answer to their problems and they have actually gotten worse...
We have to make a better choice...not pull magic from thin air...

At this rate heavily cut funding to the football program because those in charge aren’t interested in winning, only being highly paid for minimum effort. invest heavily in the basketball and baseball programs... all contracts for athletics moving forward be competitive with standards, however heavily connected with performance based incentives.... no more handouts or panic driven decisions, let them walk because the next ambitious driven coach will be there waiting for an opportunity

But your point is valid: not a single name that we could realistically lure to AU is worth what it would cost to do so.
