Because Amoro Nonino would set me back about $160 a bottle…and I can get a bottle of Southern Comfort for less than $20

Life’s too short to drink rot-gut Bourbon…but I’m OK with taking some economical exceptions when it comes to Liqueurs when you only need a dash or two here & there.

Plus…Give my simple concoction a try?…and I dare you to tell me it sucks.

I dont know what the hell Blantons is but I tend to stay under the 30 dollar mark for my bottles of liquid courage as well.

Jack, Jim, Jose, American Honey, Southern Comfort... stuff that doesnt cost a fortune.

I’m just daring you to give it a try…thinking you might find it surprisingly good.

…It’s not like it’s a “Winner-Take-All-Showdown” and one of us has to leave the board forever?

Like that one dude that lost the bet last weekend and won’t EVER be posting here anymore.

So I wasn’t so much “daring” anyone…as much as I was more “strongly suggesting

However?…if you wanna make a “ban bet”?…I’m willing to consider it

I’m just not quite sure who I can trust to keep their word around here and not welch on an honorable “gentleman’s bet”?

If you can find it, buy. You won’t regret the cost.

I just don’t see it often. Like Pappy. Good Bourbon is sought after.

Sheezus, Je-Mo!!

Don’t go telling people it’s “like Pappy” dammnitt….that’ll just make it harder to find, Man!!

I’m not saying you’re wrong…‘cause you’re not…but I don’t wanna have to go on a damn “Easter Egg Hunt” for a bottle of fine Bourbon, and then get screwed by having to pay more than $100 for a bottle.

Year has been flying fast or maybe it’s me getting older quicker

I’m hoping on the former but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the latter

I didnt get in to that with him. It's his $160. I guess he can do with it what he wants

The only thing Blanton's needs at my house is a chair on my Lanaii and a glass.

Nothing else

"SingleMalt" username should have given some indication, but once you see his stash it's quite clear.

Yep. I was lucky to get my parents. Great human beings. And both are still alive. Both just under 80.
